Today I have teamed up with Pink Blush Boutique to bring you my ideal springtime look.  Pink Blush Boutique carries tops, dress, bottoms and more for any occasion for all sizes.  Whether you need a casual look for weekend errands or something to dress up a bit, they offer so many options for your style.  This Pink Blush dress is a must have for your spring wardrobe.  I paired this pretty flowy dress with nude rockstud heels, the perfect touch if you ask me. Not to mention the entire night I found myself twirling and spinning in this cute and comfortable dress.   Sometimes it is hard to find cute dresses for women, but this one has such a lovely print I had to add it to my wardrobe.  Pink Blush has so many spring and summer options over on their website, take a look here.  Did I also mention they have cute styles for plus sizes and maternity too.  My look will definitely be a go-to for date night with my hubby.

Be sure to enter to win a $50 Pink Blush gift card over on my Instagram.  @mybrunetteadventure  *entry ends 3/24 and the winner will be announced 3/25!

Sometimes an all striped dress can be a bit overwhelming.  I used to hate horizontal stripes as it does the one thing we all never want, make us look wider. But I have recently come around to them a bit more in the past year or so. Naturally with this loose fitting T-shirt striped dress, I did not want the stripes to over power my look.  By adding solid pieces, it helped tone down the bold pattern while still giving the stripe pattern center stage.  Anyone else like to wear a sporty look to run errands on beautiful days? I know what your are thinking, your yoga pants do just fine for a sporty look.  Okay, maybe you can give your yoga pants a break and still be comfortable and sporty with a simple Tshirt dress, low sneaker and fun accessories. Try it out! Maybe you will go back to the days of Sporty Spice. Anyone else a Spice Girl fan in the 90’s? I sure was! Spice up yo life!

And who doesn’t love a nice jumping picture? Truth is I was overjoyed at the beautiful weather we have had this past week I was celebrating. Okay and maybe jumping for joy that we leave on vacation in less than two weeks! Score! Those poor pale legs of mine need some time in the sun. Oh, pardon my pedometer, I have been wearing it to track my daily steps and it slipped its way into this photo shoot. 🙂

It has been gorgeous weather this week.  What better way to welcome spring than with my spring dresses.  This pleated dress has been in my closet for a few years now, but never gets old in my book.  Please pardon my winter-white legs.  They will see some Caribbean sunshine here in two weeks! How about these nude heels? I love how they are the same color as my skin giving my legs an immediate few extra inches. 🙂  Okay, so you cant make your legs longer, but quick hint to find nude heels that are the same shade as your skin to help elongate your legs. How are you wearing your spring favorite items during this beautiful weather?

Please also excuse my brief WEEK long absence over here on my slice of the web.  Lets be honest, sometimes life happens and my poor blog here gets neglected, but it is for big things to come in the future.  I would like to share a tiny bit of good news on a personal level and why blogging has been sort of neglected lately.  I have decided to purse my lifelong dream of owning my own boutique!  Although it is in the early stages, I can share it will be an online boutique hopefully launching in May 2015! Next month!

Anyone else sticking with your fitness routine? It is April and this girl right here is getting better every month.  I just completed a fitness challenge of 1800 minutes in 60 days (went over 1800 minutes!) and began a new challenge today with some co workers! The current fitness challenge is 150 miles in 10 weeks.  My personal goal is to run more of those miles than walk! Do you need a fitness challenge, you should try it.  It averages to a little over two miles everyday.  That could be walking or running, you should definitely try it out! My moto….Get Moving! 🙂
