Oh my, I am so sorry my lovely readers for being somewhat absent over the past week. Aside from my motivation level dropping from this winter weather, “life” was happening.  Going a week without blogging was not on my to-do list.  However, some other things in life took over the past week, but I am back at it.  What better way then to share this awesome pencil skirt.  It is currently on major sale for under $30!  Such a great piece to add to your work wear wardrobe.  Pencil skirts are something I believe look great on every body type.  You can dress them up or down and go from day to night.  I wore this exact pencil skirt with just the top and skirt to work and went to night by adding the leather jacket and pop of color clutch.

I know you hear this every week from me here on the blog, but is it spring yet?  Anyone else noticing the mounds of snow in todays post? Blaaaaaah! And why do I chose to live in Indiana with the harsh winters? 😦

On a good note, we are 6 weeks out from our Caribbean cruise and we bought a new/used Jeep this past week! It was about time since our vehicles are 10+ years! 🙂  Ride them until the wheels fall off! Stay warm!

XOXO,

Jessica

Happy Friday! I hope you are all ready for the weekend. Well before you head off to your weekend plans, I have put together this outfit combo.  It was a little out of the box, but I think it turned out okay. What do you think of todays combo? Yay? Nay?

If you are somewhat new to the blog, one reason I started this blog was to get creative and think outside the box at what ‘spoke’ to me in my wardrobe. Sometimes you just throw some pieces together and they work great. Other times, we learn it was not our best combo to date.  I encourage you to utilize what is already in your closet. Mix, match and play with what you already have, it can be a lot of fun!

This skirt has always been a difficult piece for me in terms of what I think works best with it.  Today, I chose to pair it with my favorite chambray shirt.  To top it off, I threw on this faux fur vest. The vest added a little extra something to finish off the look. I also am very sorry for my very pale legs. You could say I am in need of a warm beach and some sunshine about now. Yes please!

I know you are wondering when the gift card giveaway will be annouced. Well, patience, but the giveaway should be up very soon. Be sure to visit back each day to catch how you can enter to win. Also, be sure to follow our Facebook page and Instagram, updates will be posted there as well.

Have fun and a safe weekend!
