Happy Friday my loves! Friday has to be my favorite day of the week. Anyone else? Everyday you should love what you put on and today I absolutely loved all these pieces I paired together for my look. Most of these are pieces I have owned for quite sometime and just decided to pair them together. I am loving where these pants hit on my leg and think I need more pants that hit right above the ankle bone. To put a little prep in my step today, I chose to wear these nude heels to work with this new comfortable blazer I scored on sale. I did change into my ‘shoreline’ white converse for a relaxed date night look after the office. Sorry I did not get a picture of those beauties, but they will be tested out this weekend. Anyone notice a little change of scenery? We decided to do a impromptu photo session near my work today. Loving these warmer temperatures! Who has big plans for the weekend? Anything fun?
If you follow me on Instagram, here is the new red lip color I picked up this past weekend. As you know I have been on the hunt for the perfect red lip and I have found it! I posted a quick shot of it this past week over on my Instagram. Be sure you are following me on Instagram for daily updates from me! @mybrunetteadventureblog

Let me just say the weather was great for about……one day here in the Midwest before it was back to the cold winter temperatures. Nothing like wearing my winter blues to be in the winter spirit. Can you believe I got this navy blue cowl neck sweater on clearance for $5! YAY! I love a great deal and my closet can always use sweaters for this cold winter weather, right? What would be more amazing for my closet if I was packing all my swimsuits and shorts for a vacation! 🙂 Who else is ready for some sunshine and warmer temps?
Before you jump to conclusions on the other parts of this outfit,
white denim hear me out. Okay, you might be opposed to the wearing white after Labor Day, but I do not believe in that “rule”. My only rule for wearing white after Labor Day is make sure the pieces you are wearing are the right textures and fabrics for it to be A-okay in my book. Are you a no white after Labor Day kind of person?
Another quick and easy outfit in my opinion to run errands and enjoy the weekend activities you might have planned. Depending on your workplace dress code, you might be able to get away with this look for the office. Comfort, check! I am just loving this simple look, be sure to check out the outfit details above. Recently, I stated I would be posting 3-4 times a week. On a happy note, I am doing my best to bring you all 4-5 posts a week! Thank you for being loyal readers!

Happy Monday, glad to be back here with you! Yes, I have been M.I.A. since before the holidays, but I am back! Hoping many of you spent some quality time with your family and friends. Between our traveling, working and getting ready for all the holiday madness, it was nice to have a breather around here.
Today’s post I focused on this bejeweled top. I have been waiting on something just right to pair with the faux leather skirt and this bejeweled top my husband picked out for Christmas was perfect. To keep the skirt from going to ‘biker girl’, I paired it with heels and a bejeweled top to keep it chic. I don’t know about you guys, but I am actually loving this Navy + Black combo as well. What are your thoughts on Navy + Black together? Sometimes I just love throwing together things and them to work out so well. I am loving the Navy + Black look! You guys should try it out.
I also want to thank you all who participated in the giveaway! It means so much to me to see so many of you out there share the same interests and whom love reading what I have to say in this big world.
