Hello dolls! We are almost through another week and today I have another look from this downtown view.  Okay, when you are as busy as this girl, I try to shoot as many looks in advance.  More on that another day. Side note, if you have not seen the blog is now a .COM!! It only took me close to 2 years to finally get around to making the blog officially a .com.  Better late than never.

I love a simple and go-to kind of look. It is who I am and it fits my lifestyle.  You should always feel great in what you are wearing and be you.  Today was no different, I love  live in black and neutrals.  It is just what I gravitate towards. You probably have gathered that much if you have been following for some time now.  Busy schedules call for basics that can be mixed and matched to create a wardrobe. When styling this look, it reminded me of the uptown girl on the go with just enough edge.  This jacket is also stunning with a skirt and heels.  I just might have a look like that coming up on the blog soon. For now, this look was just what I needed while running weekend errands with my husband and stopping for pizza. Do you ever have days or weeks you just want to chop all your hair off? Well, that has been my thinking lately.  I have spent about 3 solid years growing this mane out but now I am loving the ‘long bob’ that hits just past the shoulders. Anyone else swooning over this style?

Did I mention a leather jacket should be an essential piece in your wardrobe? It pairs well with so many different looks and makes the best jacket to pack for travel.  What are some of your favorite pieces to pair with your leather jacket? I have linked some favorite leather jackets above in the details.

Oh my, I am so sorry my lovely readers for being somewhat absent over the past week. Aside from my motivation level dropping from this winter weather, “life” was happening.  Going a week without blogging was not on my to-do list.  However, some other things in life took over the past week, but I am back at it.  What better way then to share this awesome pencil skirt.  It is currently on major sale for under $30!  Such a great piece to add to your work wear wardrobe.  Pencil skirts are something I believe look great on every body type.  You can dress them up or down and go from day to night.  I wore this exact pencil skirt with just the top and skirt to work and went to night by adding the leather jacket and pop of color clutch.

I know you hear this every week from me here on the blog, but is it spring yet?  Anyone else noticing the mounds of snow in todays post? Blaaaaaah! And why do I chose to live in Indiana with the harsh winters? 😦

On a good note, we are 6 weeks out from our Caribbean cruise and we bought a new/used Jeep this past week! It was about time since our vehicles are 10+ years! 🙂  Ride them until the wheels fall off! Stay warm!

XOXO,

Jessica

Welcome back to the blog! I know many of you had the past two weeks off for the holidays. It has been crazy busy around here with the holidays and now with the season over, it was nice to just relax and be lazy with my little family. A lazy day is needed every once in a while, right?

Keeping it somewhat casual around here on My Brunette Adventure, today was perfect for a relaxed feminine look.  What better way then to have pink, denim, heels and a leather jacket?  I really find this look comfortable and versatile for a great everyday look. My gifted handbag is great to throw my new 2015 planner, and all my other necessities and go! What better way to be comfortable while running all those errands then in my feminine look here. Go ahead, see if you have similar products or another bright colored sweater to pair with these items.

XOXO,

Jessica
