To say that I am in love with this dress would be an understatement. It has that boho/Free People look for a fraction of the cost and will be a repeat on the blog. Are you loving this trend as much as me? Plus my current obsession with cognac shoes and handbags! These dresses are so comfortable to put on for a cooler summer day. And, might I add it is from my new shop! That is right, 7th and Park Boutique, opened this past Saturday. It is an online only boutique. So if you were wondering if I would ever come back to blogging, I was a bit busy getting everything up and running, but I’m back. Many of you have sent so many words of encouragement and I am over joyed at the amount of support I have received from you, my readers. Thank You!! This is a life long dream of mine and I am finally living it. If you too love this dress, head over to the shop and grab yours before they are gone! 🙂 Not to worry there are a lot of great styles to chose from, go take a look. (7thandPark)

All bangs aside! Okay, maybe that sounded better in my head than out loud. No, for real though anyone else notice my bangs to the side? That is right, I am trying to grow them out so they are nice and long for the warmer days ahead. Ahhhh, are you as ready for those warmer days as I am? Maybe it is because this photo shoot was very windy and piercing cold to my face. I had many ‘bloopers’ that were pretty funny to laugh at when I created this post. So with the piercing cold still around, today I chose to share this soft pink coat I picked up two weeks ago for $20! Yep. A coat for $20 is a pretty big deal in my closet. One of my winter wardrobe must dos this year was adding colored coats. Bam! By pairing this soft pink coat with this bold cobalt blue peter pan collar dress it was just what I needed to add a bright pop of color to my outfit. And how can we forget these oh so cute polka dot tights! If you have been following along on My Brunette Adventure you know polka dots are a favorite of mine.
Do you own any winter coats with color? Or just black and tan? What are some of your favorite ways to wear your colored coats?
Sure it is easy to throw on my denim jeans and call it a day. Today, I wanted to wear a dress, but be comfortable and dress it down with riding boots. This denim dress is perfect for that kind of outfit. I got the flow of a dress, but the feel of my denim. Add some accessories plus my boots, done! For later in the evening, I brought along my sweater to layer on if I got chilly. Not sure what you think about it, but I actually loved my thrown together denim dress outfit. Sometimes just throwing pieces together are the best.
This denim dress was a great buy online a few years ago. If I remember correctly, I paid between $10-$15. Perfect!
I love to show you, my readers, how I really act during the photo shoots. Here, who knows what I was doing, saying or thinking. It did not turn out too crazy, right? I hope you’ve had a great week. What are you all doing this weekend?
