Oh my readers I am back! I have been coming and going here on the blog lately, but I am hoping to turn things around here in the coming weeks. Today, I bring so many of my favorite pieces, but this bold green sweater made a bold statement for today’s comfortable look. Of course, it is still snowy and cold here in the Midwest, but I am not letting that drag down my outfit choices. I wanted some color in my look so today I chose this bold green sweater that has been waiting patiently in my closet for some wear. The sweater paired nicely with these oh-so-comfortable navy blue chinos. Other pieces I mixed into this look were some oldies, but goodies. What do you guys think of the bold green? Enough to have you also looking forward to brighter colors and spring? Try transitioning your winter wardrobe to spring by adding pops of color and brighter colors to those boring, dark color pieces in your closet. And how about that two-day hair? Well, it was in a side braid until right before the shoot I decided to take out the braid. A little natural looking wave for the win! This scarf is definitely a go to in very cold temps. Stay warm and check back for more posts this week. 🙂

Happy week of Thanksgiving! I hope you are all gearing up for some quality time with your family and friends. Being comfortable for a day of going from one place to another is key for me picking out my Thanksgiving attire. With today still being a work day, I chose a go-to piece, a simple black crew neck sweater. It was one of those days to just go all black with my outfit. The monochromatic pieces go well with the pattern of my favorite leopard loafers. Although I did not go completely all black with my outfit, I added a pop of color in my handbag. This handbag with these loafers are one of my favorite combos in my wardrobe!
I love adding different shades and textures of one color to create monochromatic looks. What are your favorite colors to wear as monochromatic outfits?
Be sure you are following on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The first giveaway will be announced this week!
Hope you are having a great start to your weekend. Today, just like everyday, comfort was on my mind. I wanted to be casual in jeans, but still have a pop of color. My bright red H&M sweater that has been in my closet for a few years now was perfect. This red sweater was just what I needed for a pop of color. From there, it just needed some leopard pieces to pull it together. What better way than my leopard loafers and my leopard belt.
And yes, I love my ‘Holy Chic’ t-shirt from Old Navy. I also wore it here. They may still have a few left and you might get it on major sale right now with the ‘Up To 60%’ off sale going on right now. Hurry, that sale ends 10/27!
My whole look cost just around $100 total! Be sure to shop around for the best sales and deals to get your pieces at affordable prices.
And last but not least, an outfit post with twirling and jumping is a must do! Thank you all for helping to get my blog off the ground and for being followers. The blog is what it is because of you, my readers! Thank You!
