Hello sunshine!  So glad you graced us with your presence.  I hope wherever you are located, you are getting some wonderful spring sunshine too. Aaaaamazing!  It might not be spring quite yet, but I am ready to wear my spring uniform.  Okay, I don’t wear a daily uniform to work but this look here is along the lines of what I live in at work.  Simple and pops of color.  How will you wear your spring uniform? I would love to hear what you guys are wanting to live in this spring.

Today’s look is going to be on repeat here on the blog. Okay, maybe I will switch up the pieces I mix together, but these crop print pants I tell ya.  They are so comfortable and were one of my best purchases recently.  How many of you sell or buy on Poshmark?(check it out if not)  I will admit, I do both!  I sell my unwanted items in my closet as well as buy gently used clothing. These pants are like brand new!  I bought the pants along with a striped JCrew button up and paid $25 for both items.  Deal, I think so.  Best part is both those items were on my “must have list” I created for the new season. Which reminds me, have you been following your “must have” list when purchasing items?  This method has worked really well for me and I have cut back on items that just sit in my closet because they were on sale. Ask me more if you want to know how I create and follow a list when shopping for new seasons.

XOXO,

Jessica

Hello beauties! I hope you are getting back into routine on this Tuesday wherever you are in the world.  It was a rough Monday for me that is for sure, but I survived. That also reminds me, I am very sorry about my mullet/bad extension hair do going on in a few of these photos.  I don’t even have a mullet hair cut or hair extensions, my hair was just not having a good day.  Okay, so my hair never has a good day, but today I giggled when seeing it in a side view for this post. I thought who cares, it is going up. Trying to keep it real! Oh, and pardon the ‘sitting’ wrinkles on my skirt. I have a desk job and the good ole’ sun does not give me much time to shoot my photos.

Well enough of that bad hair day and wrinkles, your next question might be windowpane?  Yes, that pattern on my sweater is called windowpane in the fashion world these days.  And would you know it looks exactly like an actual windowpane. Who would have thunk it?  It is common on sweaters, shirts, and pants. You may have recognized this pattern while out shopping.  I love black and white and this sweater was no exception this past weekend for 60% off. Yes, you just read that correct, 60% off! I almost picked it up a while back by held out for a major deal and I believe it was well worth the wait for the 60% off price tag. This skirt is another story in itself , but very quickly I scored it on sale for less that $20! BINGO! I was able to score great deals and stock up on some winter necessities for my wardrobe. Oooppps! Some retail therapy never hurt nobody.  🙂

What do you think of the windowpane pattern? Are you a fan? YAY? NAY?  (Don’t be afraid to comment below, I love hearing from you!)

XOXO,

Jessica

Pretty In Blush

Pretty In BlushToday’s outfit post of Pretty In (Pink) Blush was an easy and comfortable look. The blush colored faux leather jacket brings feminine with a splash of edge. It is a pretty quilted blush pink jacket I found at Target at the end of winter last year for only $20. Ladies, sale racks might seem scary and overwhelming to some of you. Trust me, when you get in there and get a good deal, you will thank yourself later.

And these nude suede heels? Yes, I found them one day while browsing and had to pick them up for $6.49! They are comfortable and you cannot beat a pair of heels for $6.49. Plus I needed a pair. 🙂

Let me go ahead and state the obvious about the photos I realized while putting this post together. Yes, one of my pant legs is rolled up and the other is not. I was going back and forth and forgot to roll it down before the photo shoot started.  whooooppps! Wardrobe malfunction? Ha. I am by no means perfect or close to it. I intend to share my ‘real’ self with you, my readers, whether it is good or bad. My photographer did not even catch this for me, Gesshh! *Photo credit: Mr. B aka my hubby.
