Today I keep it sweet and simple, with a girly statement here on My Brunette Adventure. Who does not love a full girly skirt kinda day? I had a blast twirling around and being girly today with my favorite midi skirt.  Keeping it basic black and white with a statement necklace was just what I needed today.  I let the necklace, shoes and bold lip color accessorize this outfit today.  Those shoes! And that lip color are just a few of my favorites right now. By far one of my favorite outfits this spring. (even though I do not have many post to pick from…oopps)  🙂  I hope you are all off to a great week and make sure to add a girly statement to your look!

P.S.– The new online shop, 7th & Park Boutique, will be launching May 30th! I am getting very excited to show you all some great pieces I have found for the boutique.  Be sure to follow the shops Facebook and Instagram pages!

Oh my, I am so sorry my lovely readers for being somewhat absent over the past week. Aside from my motivation level dropping from this winter weather, “life” was happening.  Going a week without blogging was not on my to-do list.  However, some other things in life took over the past week, but I am back at it.  What better way then to share this awesome pencil skirt.  It is currently on major sale for under $30!  Such a great piece to add to your work wear wardrobe.  Pencil skirts are something I believe look great on every body type.  You can dress them up or down and go from day to night.  I wore this exact pencil skirt with just the top and skirt to work and went to night by adding the leather jacket and pop of color clutch.

I know you hear this every week from me here on the blog, but is it spring yet?  Anyone else noticing the mounds of snow in todays post? Blaaaaaah! And why do I chose to live in Indiana with the harsh winters? 😦

On a good note, we are 6 weeks out from our Caribbean cruise and we bought a new/used Jeep this past week! It was about time since our vehicles are 10+ years! 🙂  Ride them until the wheels fall off! Stay warm!

XOXO,

Jessica

Pants: Banana Republic Factory store  ||   Top: Old Navy (old)   ||   Heels: Old Navy  (here in black)   ||   Sweater: Banana Republic Factory store (on sale now!) ||   Handbag: London Fog via TJMaxx   ||  Necklace: New York & Company  (similar)

Holy Batman! I am so excited to share these printed pants with you for a few reasons.  First, they are extremely comfortable and it feels like I am wearing pajamas. You cannot go wrong with the feeling of wearing pajamas but actually wearing a pair of pants. The other reason I am excited to share these printed pants with you is because….drum roll…..they were on clearance for $1.92 (thats w/ tax) at the Banana Republic Factory store! You may want to run to get you a pair! Can we say deal of the season!  They were on the clearance rack for $2.99 and it was an additional 40% off! WOOOOOWZ! Okay, enough about my excitement on finding a crazy deal, but for real, you should come shopping with me. 🙂

As I look into my closet, there are not very many printed pants or skirts.  Over the last few months, one of my improvements to my closet was to add printed bottoms.  Well ladies and gentlemen, this pair will fit just nice in my closet and it cost me less than $2! Um, yes please! I cannot wait to pair them with pops of color as well.  Do you own printed bottoms? How do you like to style them?

XOXO,

Jessica
