Happy New Year!! Every year I like to reflect back on all the good and the bad the year brought, to see what new goals and experiences to set for the new year. 2017 was full of so many great adventures and experiences.  We watched close friends welcome new babies and close family get hitched. Our travels took us a few different places. From Atlanta for a boutique work trip to LA and Hawaii to celebrate my 30th birthday in my birthplace. Hawaii was a dream and it was by far my favorite place this past year we visited. In late summer, we took a road trip with my family to a lake in Maryland.  In November, we took our last trip of 2017 to NYC to celebrate 4 years of marriage and my husbands 35th birthday. It was a fun trip exploring many neighborhoods of the city. In June, I accepted a promotion from my full time job which has kept me busy the last half of the year.  My husband and I have also been doing some home improvements around the house.  Painting our kitchen cabinets was a big project I tackled early in the summer. We also laid new flooring in our upstairs which is set to be finished before baby. In July, we found out we were expecting our first child and she will be here in March.  We are so excited for this new adventure and to see where 2018 will take us as a family. In 2018, I would really like to show this (poor little) blog of mine more attention, I have really neglected it this past year.  My boutique business is also a goal of growth in the new year.    In the new year, I have made personal and professional goals.
