We are mid-way through the week! Mini celebration going on over here at getting halfway through the week. Sooo the temperatures here in Indiana were beautiful this past weekend but has been back to the arctic cold temperatures these past few days. Come on Indiana, I am ready for Spring! This double denim look is a go-to when I just want comfort. You can pair it with a sneaker for day-time and change to a heel sandal like I did here for date night. Remember, a nude heel should match your skin color to help elongate your legs. I am only 5’3 so we all know I can use any trick to make me look taller. I kept jewelry to a minimum but you can always add simple pieces. I did however, pair this cross body bag that is my go-to when I just carry the essentials. Lets face it, I am a big bag lover kinda gal, but sometimes its nice to not lug around a large bag, that is when I use this awesome cross body bag.
This denim shirt is my new favorite. Yes, I own 3 different chambray shirts, but they are different shades. This one has the awesome detail in the back and is super soft. I recently picked it up at TJMaxx, you might be able to find it at your local TJMaxx too. When my husband, who takes my photos, saw me for the first time in this look he asked if I was wearing a Canadian Tuxedo. UMMM, yes I am. It is a joke between us, but I love double denim if done correctly.
Later this week I have a look with fringe! Also, did you see my beauty haul over on Instagram? I will be doing a blog post in the coming weeks to see which items I recommend.
