Let me begin todays post by saying I am very sorry for being somewhat MIA here on the blog.  Many of you are such great followers and come back daily for more.  I thank each of you so much for having such an interest in a normal everyday gal from the Midwest and my blog. With that being said, I am trying to keep the posts to 3-4 times per week. Once the winter is gone, I promise to have better locations and light for these photos.  🙂

Who says basic pieces cannot be cute?  The beginning of the work week is always difficult to get back in the swing of things, but your style does not have to be.  I took a few basics pieces and made a comfortable outfit suitable for any occasion.  Whether you work in an office setting, classroom setting or travel for work, this outfit works for anyone.  I know, you do not want to wear heels in the snow or cold weather? I don’t either, but you can wear a warm boot and change your shoes as soon as you get into the office. I have always been a huge ‘neutrals’ kinda gal.  Keeping it classic and clean is always a favorite look of mine.  If you do not have these basic pieces in your closet, be sure to check out a few of my favorites from above. My oh my I am loving this gold cuff I got on sale at Banana Republic Factory recently.  What are some of your favorite basic pieces?

XOXO,

Jessica

  1. Such a great look. I love the leopard belt and gold cuff. I recently changed my blogging schedule from Monday, Wednesday, Friday to Tuesdays and Thursdays. Its so hard to keep up. Glad I’m not the only one who finds it challenging. 😀
