I hope your week is starting off great. Monday is over so it is only up hill from here, right?
The struggle of putting together work attire can be stressful. It does not have to be difficult. Start with basic pieces and pieces that can mix well with one another. Todays post include a few basic pieces.
This fairly new soft pink sweater from Old Navy is a great piece that will take me into winter. I can get very hot wearing sweaters indoors. This sweater is not bulky for wearing indoors at work and can serve as a layering piece during the colder months. If you have yet to add sweaters to your fall wardrobe, I would suggest they be at the top of your basic pieces for fall and winter.
Another basic piece that should already be in your closet is a trench coat. A trench coat works for fall and spring. I have owned this trench coat for years. It is perfect for chilly days and when you are not quite ready for your heavy wool coat. Trench coats are a staple piece that will not go out of style.
Do you own a trench coat already? If so, what do you pair with your trench coat?
XOXO,
Jessica
