Casual Game Day Look

Casual Game Day Look

Today was a fairly chilly day here in Indianapolis. With the chill, it is necessary to layer on your pieces for a game day look. A game day look can work for many different sporting events. Throw some of your basic wardrobe pieces together with your sports gear to support your team and you are ready to hit the crowd. I chose my favorite team, the Yankees. I know. I know. The season is over for the Yanks, but I will wear my gear no matter what time of year. My love for the Yankees started over ten years ago and mainly because of Derek Jeter. 🙂 I love throwing on my baseball hat to support my team. Recently, Derek Jeter did retired, but I will continue to support my Yanks! They also have my heart because New York City is also one of my favorite cities.

Casual Game Day LookI finally got around to getting my mane colored. I did go a little darker with my hair, can you even tell? I sure can! Casual Game Day Look

Don’t forget to layer if you will be outside tailgating! It is easy to layer on to stay warm outdoors and once inside you can remove layers to be more comfortable during the game.

I am not sure what provoked me to look over the fencing, but as soon as I saw this photo it reminded me of a favorite childhood movie, The Sandlot. Oh how that classic movie always made its way into the VCR at home for family movie night. I grew up with just an older brother, so my childhood days tended to have more tomboy-ish ways then my latter years. A little kick ball in the court, anyone?
