State Fair Time

Last week my husband and I enjoyed some fun time at the Indiana State Fair. It is always a good time to enjoy fair foods and the outside enviroment to round out the summer. Its always fun to check out the huge tractors on display for purchase. I think I found my new ride? We also checked out some of the 4H projects that students work really hard on all year to bring to the Indiana State Fair.

I have always loved these horse stables at the fair

This was the first night we went for FREE day!

We went twice in a two week period. Once for FREE day in which we cut out the free entry coupon in the newspaper. Score on a freebie! We were only at the fair an hour or so due to it being a weekday after work. The other night we went was $2 Tuesday! Entry into the fair was only $2 per person. Also each food vendor has a $2 item making some of your favorites only $2. This is n a deal since it usually cost an adult $10 for entry at the gate and most food is double/triple the $2 cost. I would also recommend $2 Tuesdays for anyone with kids, I believe there is a $2 deal for the fair rides as well.

The second night we went it was very chilly outside. It definitely did not feel like August weather. Below you will see the outfit I threw together for comfort to walk the fair and stay a little warm since it was chilly.
